He purpose is to verify the quality of the service, in the “Mijano” restaurant in the city of Iquitos, which is vital to monitor, study, permanently, even more so when the economic framework of the sector forces it to do so, due to its global recognition Peruvian gastronomy that once again this year 2019 is again considered the first gastronomic destination in the world, therefore the responsibility of maintaining the standards that are required as a base to be considered a tourist restaurant in the city, pondering the possibility of supporting the growth of this sector, which should become the dynamic sector of the Lorena economy. The research is non-experimental correlational, with a sample of 185 clients, to verify the quality of the service, and to verify customer satisfaction. The results obtained show in general that the infrastructure and facilities where the food service is provided, of the restaurant “El Mijano” are appropriate with the service provided, and the response capacity and friendliness of the employees, hostesses and young men , they perceive positive and willing to help with customer needs. Regarding customer satisfaction, they are shown and perceived satisfied with prices, suggestions for improvements and, above all, complaints that allow employees to make, perceiving full compliance with the service.
