In the present research work, it was possible to optimize the outline of the existing trail that connects the city of Contamana with the San Salvador Rural Population Center, in the province of Ucayali. The alternative layout of the proposal allows compliance with the parameters of the Geometric Highway Design Manual - 2018, at the extreme design speed of 60 km/h, on flat terrain and average slopes of 4.5%. Likewise, the use of approximately 50% of the material from the cut for the formation of the platform in fill sections (cut volume equivalent to 46538.26 m3 of which a volume of 21766.89 m3 will be used in fill).
