This study was aimed at solving the following research problem: How is Malaria related to the Population of the Yavari District in the Province of Ramon Castilla - Loreto from January to March 2018?} The research objective was: To demonstrate the relationship of the Malaria Prevalence with the Population of the Yavari District in the Province of Ramon Castilla - Loreto from January to March 2018. Material and methods: This research is quantitative and retrospective, with a non-experimental, descriptive design. We worked with a sample of 1027 patients who went to the Icelandic Health Center from January to March 2018, for the analysis of the information the statistical package of SPSS V.24 was used. Results: After the quantification of the thick gout of the 1027 patients who attended the ACLAS Santa Rosa in the Yavari district in the Province of Ramon Castilla - Loreto from January to March 2018, 160 (15.58%) were positive patients, the age range according to species, there was a higher frequency of 21 - 30 years with 51 (4.97%) positive for Plasmodium vivax and 11 (1.07%) patients for Plasmodium falciparum; the age range according to sex in men was 21 - 30 years with 24 (2.34%) and in women of 0 - 10 years with 38 (3.70%). There was a higher frequency in the districts of Iceland, with 65 (6.33%) cases of Plasmodium vivax and 16 (1.56%) cases of Plasmodium falciparum. Conclusions: The thick film is the reference test with which other diagnostic methods have traditionally been compared, it allows to identify the different parasites that cause malaria (P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. malariae and P. ovale) and their different stages , including the gametocyte, and quantify the parasite density to determine the response to treatment.
