Objective: Establish the difference in the level of dental caries in patients treated at the Ipress I-3 Cardozo and the Hospital II-1 Nauta in the year 2023. Methodology: this study was quantitative; non-experimental, descriptive comparative, cross-sectional, prospective analytical design. Where a data collection form was used, index form for CPO. The population will consist of adult patients treated at the IPRESS I-3 Cardozo:133 and the Hospital II-1 Nauta:227, with a total of 360 adults. Results: The results show that the average age was 33-44 years; the minimum being 18 and the maximum being 69 years old. 63.1% of the sample was from Hospital II-1 Nauta and 36.9% was from IPRESS Cardozo, 31.7% of the sample was male and 68.3% was female. 52.5% of the sample had secondary education; 30.8% had primary school; technical and higher education had 7.2% each; and 2.2% had incomplete secondary school. 14.7% had a CPO of 9; 12.8% had a CPO of 6; 11.7% had a CPO of 8; 10.8% had a CPO of 7. 63.6% had a high CPO; followed by 22.2% moderate and 14.2% low. Conclusions: At Hospital II-1 Nauta 54.2% had a high CPO; followed by the moderate with 27.3% and 18.5% low. In the IPRESS Cardozo, 79.7% had a high CPO; followed by moderate with 13.5% and low with 6.8%. There are significant differences between the CPOs of the Health Centers (p=0.003). There are significant differences in pieces with carious lesions between the health Centers (p=0.000). There are no differences between lost and blocked pieces. If there is a relationship between Health Center and age (p=0.004). There is no relationship between CPO and age. There is no relationship between CPO and educational level (p=0.367).
