The objective of this research work was to determine the level of depression in adolescent users of a health establishment, Belén District, 2022. The methodology was framed in a type of simple descriptive investigation, non-experimental and cross-sectional design, the population was made up of by 30 adolescent users of the IPRESS I-3 Cardozo Health Center, with the representative sample of 15 adolescents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the technique used was psychometric and the instrument was the Depression Self-Assessment Scale (EAD) of William Zung and Zung. The data were processed and analyzed using the statistical software Statistical Package for Social Sciences - SPSS v22. The results were: 60.0% obtained mild to moderate levels of depression, which would indicate that adolescents sometimes feel sad and down, that they sleep late because it is difficult for them to fall asleep, that during the day they tend to remain restless as if something was missing, but without knowing the reasons for their concern, on the other hand, only 13.3% obtained a moderate to intense level of depression, indicating that adolescents experience feelings of worthlessness, which would make them want to cry and often finding themselves irritable with no desire to carry out their daily activities, and only 26.7% of adolescents do not present depression.
