Abstract: The present research work evaluates the impact of the legislation for the regularization of buildings through Law No. 27157 and its amending Law 30830 in the city of Tarapoto with the objective of evidencing the improvements in the formalization of property ownership. Likewise, in the aforementioned work of managing a conceptual and regulatory development of the formalization of property ownership, outlining the legal and regulatory limitations of property rights in the District of Tarapoto, San Martin Region. Finally, our recommendations offer necessary suggestions for better management of property rights in Peru, taking into account the high rate of informality, legal solutions are proposed for this purpose.
