Objective: it was to determine the presence of IgG-IgM antibodies and dengue virus Ns1Ag antigen in patients who attend Hospital III Iquitos during the months of October 2020 - January 2021. Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out with the collection of retrospective information, in which observation and documentary analysis were used as an instrument, since the data from the epidemiological records of the patients were reviewed, 1863 patients were selected, the biological and laboratory variables of each one and were contrasted with the results of IgG, IgM and Ns1Ag antibodies to identify a dengue virus infection. These patients were feverish and were cared for by doctors from Hospital III Iquitos during the months of October 2020 - January 2021. Results: they show that the biological characteristic where dengue appears most frequently is in men and in children between 11 and 15 years old. The districts where the presence of more dengue cases is confirmed are mostly in the district of Iquitos and the prevalence of antigen NS1 of the dengue virus was positive 628 (33.71%), for antibodies of the IgG class of the dengue virus is of 222 (11.9%) and for dengue virus IgM class antibodies is 161 (8.64%); it is obtained that the month with the highest frequency was in October 2020 for Ns1Ag, IgG and January 2021 for IgM. Conclusions: That dengue infection in the city of Iquitos constitutes a reemerging problem that must be dealt with in a timely manner by the health authorities.
