This research aimed to determine the level of social skills in 5th year high school students at I.E.P. Jean Piaget de Iquitos-2020, with a sample of 51 students; the methodology was quantitative, non-experimental, crosscutting design, as it specifies the level of social skills and does not manipulate the sample; The instrument used was Goldstein’s Social Skills Scale, in the results obtained it is evident that the largest group of students is at the age of 16, being the female sex with the highest percentage of participants, relative to the level of students’ social skills are at a low level with 52.94%, relative to the dimensions evaluated show a low level of the first social skills with 58.92%, advanced social skills with 64.70%, social skills related to feelings with 54.90% and social skills to cope with stress with 52.94% , in relation to social planning skills is at a normal level with 50.98% and social skills versus aggression have a poor level with 43.14%. According to their indicators; in first social skills students “Often” have the ability to listen by 52.94% and “never” students fulfill others by 43.14% in Advanced Social Skills, “rarely” students have the ability to apologize by 43.14%and follow instructions by 39.22%; “Often” social skills practice the ability to self-reward by 50.98% and resolve fear by 43.14%; “Often” aggression have the ability to defend their rights by 35.29% in Social Skills to deal with stress “Sometimes” have the ability to respond to failure by 49.13%; in Social Planning Skills students “Sometimes” have the ability to focus on a task by 37.25% and make a decision by 35.29%.
