The main aim of this study was to determine if there is a relationship between salivary pH, Oral Hygiene Index and Dental Caries in Pregnant Women of the IPRESS I-4 Bellavista Nanay, Loreto 2019. The study was quantitative, non-experimental, correlational, cross-sectional. 240 pregnant women treated at the IPRESS I-4 "Bellavista Nanay" were assessed. Three types of instruments were used: Salivary pH data collection sheet, Simplified Oral Hygiene Index card, CPOD index card, and a digital measuring equipment for pH meter (HANNA Checker HI98104 brand) Results: The results show that the average age was 24.13 years. The most prevalent age group were young people (18 to 29 years old) with 51.7% of pregnant women. Also, 51.7% of pregnant women had incomplete secondary education. The most frequent salivary pH was neutral in 62.5% of pregnant women. The mean salivary pH was 6.54 ± 0.45. The prevalent oral hygiene index was regular in 85% of pregnant women. The average value of the oral hygiene index was 2.02 ± 0.68. The CPOD index was 13.8 ± 4.9 (high), and the averages of carious teeth, missing teeth, and sealed teeth were 9.6, 2.4 and 1.8 correspondingly. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a relationship between the salivary pH and oral hygiene index in pregnant women (p = 0.000). Likewise, there is no relationship between salivary pH and CPOD index in the study group (p = 0.098)
