The objective of this research is to determine the prevalence of gingival disease in adults of the AA.HH MAMMA IRENE STAGE I of the district of San Juan Bautista. The research is quantitative, non-experimental, crosssectional, descriptive, non-comparative or correlational. The sample was made up of 150 patients, men and women, ages 20 to 39 and 40 to 60 years, respectively. The loe and silness gingival index was used to collect data. The variables seen in this study were; age, sex, and gingival disease classification. To process the data obtained, the SPSS, EXCELL and descriptive statistics programs were used. According to the process and analysis of the results, the following results were reached: Table 1 shows 56.67% of the adults evaluated had gingival disease, the other 43.33% did not present this condition, so it can be estimated that the PREVALENCE of gingival disease in AA residents. HH MAMMA IRENE stage I is approximately 85 people for every 150 evaluated. Table 2 presented a greater PREVALENCE of gingival disease in people whose ages rango between 20 and 39 years, representing 32.7%, compared to 24% of people whose ages are between 40 and 60 years, percentage lower than the previous one. Table 3, a greater prevalence was observed in the female sex, this being 32.67%, that is, 49 people, compared to 24% of the male sex, these being 36 people who participated in this study, being more PREVALENT in the female sex. . Table 4 shows that of the adults who participated in this study, 45.88% have severe gingival disease, 38.82% have moderate gingival disease and 15.29% have mild gingival disease, with gingival disease being more PREVALENT. severe. Finally, from the results obtained, it can be concluded that more than 50% of the study population sample suffers from gingival disease, which with the analysis described we respond to our hypothesis Hi.
