It is estimated that a quarter of the world's population is infected with the tuberculosis bacillus, which means that these people are infected with the bacillus, but have not (yet) become ill and cannot transmit the infection. Objective: To establish the relationship between social support and selfcare practices in patients with TB. Methodology: quantitative study, subject to a correlational level, it seeks to establish the relationship between social support and self-care practices in patients with TB. The sample consisted of 45 patients, selected by non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The instruments used to measure were the CASPQ questionnaire for self-care practices, and the MOS questionnaire for social support. Results: it was found that the practical variables of self-care and social support are strongly related, very independent of the size of the patient's social network. Conclusion: it was concluded that there is a significant relationship between social support and its relationship with self-care practices in patients with TBC of the IPRESS I-3 America, San Juan Bautista, 2022
