Introduction: HPV is a prevalent health problem worldwide, which is associated with uterine cancer and the main prevention measure is vaccination of women and men at an early age. Objective: To determine the relationship between the knowledge and attitude of adolescents about vaccination against human papillomavirus in two human settlements of Iquitos. 2023 Material and methods: A quantitative study of descriptive, crosssectional, prospective and correlative design was carried out, interviewing 200 adolescents of both sexes between 14 and 19 years, from two AAHH of the city of Iquitos applying a structured and validated instrument, to know their level of knowledge about HPV and vaccination. and your attitude toward the HPV vaccine Results: 69.0% of adolescents report sexual activity; 77.6% of respondents received HPV vaccine, 83.1% quadrivalent vaccine and 75.9% received 2 doses; 29.0% have a high level of knowledge; 26.5% about HPV and 26.0% about their vaccination, 41.5% had a high level of attitude about the HPV vaccine, Thelevel of knowledge and attitude were significantly associated with age and 17 to 19 years, female sex, sexual activity, receipt of HPV vaccination and two doses of vaccine. Good knowledge about HPV was associated with a high attitude toward HPV vaccination (p=0.000). Conclusion: High level of knowledge is associated with a positive attitude towards HPV vaccination
