This case of study includes the basic studies of topography, soil mechanics, traffic study and quarry study; the study has been developed in order to carry out an a design proposal about pavement level of vecinal road LO 549: Shucushyacu - Lake Cuipari - Libertad de Cuipari - Gloria, Province of Alto Amazonas - Loreto, which will serve to prepare the Technical Engineering file at the execution level of 27 + 285.85 km for local roads. The research is descriptive and applicative. The axis of the road corresponds to an undulating to flat topography, the soil of the subgrade is an inorganic clay-type material with medium plasticity, having a bearing capacity from poor to regular for subgrade, the quarries of Pastizal, Shucushyacu and Cuipari have been defined to be supplier of the materia for different layers of the pavement, whose physical, chemical and mechanical properties have been executed according to the instruction manual of trial of materials for roads from the Ministry of Transportation and Communications EM - 2016. The results clearly show that it is in fact possible to achieve, for this road , the design of a pavement structure based on the correct application of theories, basic engineering studies and the Manual of General Technical Specifications for the Construction of roads with Low Traffic Volume and other standards for the design of local roads of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. The CBR design of the 0.20 m thickness affirmed layer is 6.90 %.
