Estudio de mercado del programa académico de Ingeniería Civil de la UCP, ciudad de Iquitos, año 2023

Abstract

El objetivo fue estudiar el mercado del programa académico de ingeniería civil en la UCP de la ciudad Iquitos del año 2023, así como también determinar el pensamiento estratégico, la integración al mercado, la enseñanza- aprendizaje y la calidad del docente de la carrera. Su metodología fue descriptiva, de corte transversal y no experimental; con una muestra de estudio de 37 ingenieros egresados de la facultad, a quienes se aplicó encuesta. Los resultados señalan que el 83.8% de los egresados se encuentran trabajando en asuntos relacionados a su profesión, sin embargo; 70.3% concuerdan que debe haber algunos cambios en el programa actual, acorde a las innovaciones modernas; mejorando la integración al mercado de estudiantes y egresados; toda vez que, el 51.4% sostuvo que la universidad, alguna vez hizo este tipo de eventos. El 35.1% considera que la enseñanza- aprendizaje del programa académico es algo actual, y que, si bien se da esta apreciación positiva, no se debe descuidar ese aspecto y siempre estar innovando, dando a los estudiantes, las nuevas y mejores técnicas para el desarrollo eficiente de la carrera. El 56.8% considera que los profesores tienen buen método de enseñanza, seguido del 64.9% que manifestaron que los temas tratados en clase son muy útiles.

The objective was to study the market of the civil engineering academic program at UCP in the city of Iquitos in the year 2023, as well as to determine the strategic thinking, market integration, teaching-learning and the quality of the faculty of the career. Its methodology was descriptive, cross-sectional and non-experimental; with a study sample of 37 engineers graduated from the faculty, to whom a survey was applied. The results indicate that 83.8% of the graduates are working in matters related to their profession; however, 70.3% agree that there should be some changes in the current program, according to modern innovations; improving the integration of students and graduates to the market; since 51.4% said that the university has ever done this type of events. 35.1% consider that the teaching-learning of the academic program is something current, and that, although this positive appreciation is given, this aspect should not be neglected and should always be innovating, giving students the new and better techniques for the efficient development of the career. 56.8% consider that the professors have a good teaching method, followed by 64.9% who stated that the topics covered in class are very useful.
