The present research aims to compare the results of the destructive test using diamond and the non-destructive one of Sclerometry, to determine the compressive strength of the concrete of the rigid pavement of Jirón Dos de Mayo, blocks 4 - 11 in the city of Iquitos. The sample was conformed by twenty-four specimens with diamond and twenty-four rebounds corresponding to the place from which the indicated specimens were extracted, which were obtained from eight blocks, three witnesses per block, two of these were taken from the extreme slabs of the block and one of the central slab. The Descriptive statistics were applied for information processing; and, for the hypothesis test, inferential statistics were applied using Pearson's Correlation Coefficient. The results for the diamond present compression strength of 174.29 kg / cm2 and for the accelerometer 340.55 kg / cm2; from which the applicability of the non-destructive method is concluded; only to go from the resistance value obtained from the abacus with the number of rebounds to the real compression resistance, this value must be multiplied by the factor 0.51. The existing correlation between both methods, estimated through Pearson's Correlation Coefficient is 0.803, which indicates a Good Correlation, in which the hypothesis was positively contrasted.
