Adequate road infrastructure is fundamental for the development of a society, as it directly influences the mobility and safety of users. However, Peru is among the Latin American countries that invest the least in this area, which contributes to the increase in vehicular accidents, with road geometry being a key factor. This problem is observed in the case study of the Puerto-Paracas highway and the José de San Martín urban development in Paracas, Pisco, where vehicular maneuverability is limited when entering and exiting. To address this situation, a road design was proposed based on the simulation of the Vehicle Tracking software, which allows visualizing the sweeping path of vehicles, using the Intestate Semitrailer WB-20 as the design vehicle. The indicators of success were the turning radius and the overlapping area. The results showed that all the accesses presented overlapping areas, highlighting access A-05 with 112.15 m². For this reason, the implementation of a deceleration lane and an acceleration lane was proposed, which were also simulated with the software, meeting the turning radius criteria and eliminating the overlapping area. In conclusion, road infrastructure is crucial for social development, and Vehicle Tracking software is a valuable tool to identify overlapping areas and prevent traffic conflicts.
