This research aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and the level of practice on pressure injury prevention in nurses in the critical care unit of the Lambayeque Regional Hospital, 2023. A quantitative, descriptive, correlational approach was used in a sample of 50 nurses, to whom two instruments were applied: a questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge and a checklist to assess the level of practices on LPP. The results obtained were: regarding the level of knowledge, 58% of nurses have a high level of knowledge and 42% have a medium level; regarding practices, 60% have a regular level of practice and 40% have a good level of practice. Concluding that there is a direct and significant relationship between the variable knowledge and practices of the nursing professional in prevention of pressure injuries in critical care nurses at the Lambayeque Regional Hospital, having a result of Spearman's Rho = 0.557, being moderate and with a significance below 0.05, finding that the null hypothesis is thus rejected
