In the Peruvian mining sector, companies specializing in the provision of technological services play a fundamental role in implementing technology in machinery, ensuring compliance with deadlines and aligning their operations with organizational strategies and social responsibilities, thereby optimizing the operations of mining companies. The company under study faces a low level of on-time delivery of orders (OTD). This issue is attributed to root causes such as inaccurate demand forecasting, lack of inventory management procedures, inefficient distribution of materials in the warehouse, and absence of packing protocols. These deficiencies negatively impact operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, threatening the organization’s competitiveness and sustainability. Consequently, to address these problems, the following solutions are developed for each cause: for the inaccurate demand forecasting, a cyclical counting method using ABC classification for inventory management is proposed. Finally, to reduce the extended time in the order preparation process and address the lack of packing procedures, a redesign of the layout using SLP and the implementation of a Kanban system are recommended. The implementation of these solutions has yielded positive results, evidenced by improvements in all key performance indicators. The results demonstrated a reduction in order preparation time, accurate counting of products in the warehouse, better utilization of warehouse space, and enhanced organization, which collectively increased the level of OTD. These advancements highlight the effectiveness of the tools used and underscore the importance of maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and adaptation to market dynamics to ensure long-term sustainable success.
