This professional proficiency project (TSP) focuses on optimizing the recognition of deferred revenues in ABC S.A.C., a company dedicated to the commercialization, transportation, storage, and rental of maritime containers and modules. The main objective is to enhance the accuracy and efficiency in the accounting recognition of these revenues, addressing the lack of integration within information systems and the appropriate implementation of IFRS 15. The research, based on a qualitative methodology using semi-structured interviews, proposes solutions such as a new inventory module in the Exactus ERP, the implementation of procedure manuals in accordance with COSO III, and integration through an API between Salesforce and Exactus. These alternatives are evaluated according to key indicators, including technical feasibility, impact, costs, and implementation timelines. It was concluded that the implementation of the new inventory module is the most viable alternative for optimizing the recognition of deferred revenues, aligning with IFRS 15 principles and improving the accuracy of the financial statements.
