The research presented in this thesis suggests improvements in the supply chain by utilizing tools such as the factor decomposition method, the (T, S) inventory model, and the SRM methodology. To achieve effective synergy among these tools and methodologies, the Deming cycle will be employed, allowing for proper implementation monitoring and enhancing the company's competitiveness at the national level. This proposal will be implemented in a small metalworking faucet company in Lima, where delays in order delivery deadlines have been identified, caused by deficiencies in supplier provisioning, lack of inventory review, and inadequate demand forecasting. The indicator chosen to monitor this issue is OTIF (On Time – In Full), which is currently below the industry average. The study's objective is to increase the logistical performance rate of the company FUGUESA S.R.L. from 75.13% to 90.13%, thereby reducing the existing performance gap. To validate the expected results, the Arena simulation system will be used, providing data to assess the proper implementation of the SRM methodology and the tools of the T-S inventory model and the factor decomposition method.
