The research dealt with how environmental conservation in the wetlands of Puerto Viejo is related to the reactivation of rural tourism in the district of San Antonio, its objective was to determine the relationship of environmental conservation in wetlands to reactivate rural tourism in the district of San Antonio. It was a basic type research, with a quantitative design, questionnaires were used as an instrument, with a Likert scale with multiple options: agree, disagree, totally agree, indifferent; disagree, totally disagree; it was also non-experimental cross-sectional with a descriptive-correlational research level, with a hypothetical-deductive method; it has a population of 4343, non-probabilistic convenience sampling was used, resulting in 353 residents to be surveyed in the district of San Antonio. Virtual surveys of our own creation were used to collect data. To analyze the results, the SPSS program was used, and the Spearman Rho coefficient was also used, which shows that there is a significant positive correlation of 0.67 between the variables, which confirmed the hypothesis raised. In conclusion, it is shown that the conservation of the Puerto Viejo wetlands is related to the reactivation of rural tourism in the district of San Antonio.
