The title of this research is “Comparative analysis between structural design with flexible pavement and rigid pavement of the Laredo – Samne highway Km 0+500 to 5+000, where the main objective was to carry out a comparative analysis of the pavement design corresponding to the area. of study. Likewise, it has a non- experimental research design, of applied type and descriptive level, where the data collection sheet and observation guide are used to collect the corresponding data. It was determined that the study area presents a soil mechanics study where the CBR obtained is 17.60%. An IMD was obtained from the vehicle count carried out for the Laredo – Samne highway of 17,530 vehicles/day, which resulted in a design ESAL obtained for flexible pavement of 12,904,552 EE and while the design ESAL obtained for rigid pavement is 17,696,705 EE. Resulting in a flexible pavement with a thickness of asphalt layer of 7.6 cm, base layer of 20 cm and subbase layer of 20 cm; In addition, the rigid pavement design resulted in a tread slab thickness of 25 cm and a base layer of 15 cm
