For years, manufacturing industries have identified inventory management as one of their biggest challenges. This problem arises because there is no supply that adequately balances supply and demand, which can result in excess or shortage of stock. Complete orders (RF) The Fill rate is an indicator that is based on comparing the quantity of products delivered with the quantity of products requested by customers, and with this the level of service is measured. For this study, an inventory management model based on Lean Warehousing tools and the DDMRP methodology is proposed. In the analysis of the problem, two main causes that cause the inventory deficit of finished products were identified: the first cause is the long time without having stock and the second cause is the failure in estimating demand, because the current method For calculating the forecast it has a high margin of error.
