The construction sector in Peru faces significant challenges due to the growing demand for road infrastructure projects. Inefficient planning of machinery for earthmoving can lead to delays and increased costs. In this context, a study was conducted that implemented the BIM 4D methodology using the Synchro Pro tool, combined with Lean Construction principles, aimed at optimizing the planning and execution of earthmoving tasks. The implementation began with the creation of a detailed 3D BIM model, which was integrated into the Synchro Pro environment for the development of the 4D planning. This methodology allowed for dynamic visualization of activities, facilitating the identification of optimal work sequences and reducing task durations. Through the application of Lean Construction, efficiency in machinery usage was improved. The results obtained were as follows: a reduction of 56.52% in the duration of the earthmoving task and a decrease of 54.96% in machine hours used. These advancements not only optimize resource management but also enhance the overall productivity of the project. In conclusion, the implementation of BIM 4D with Synchro Pro and Lean Construction proves to be an effective solution to address the planning challenges in earthmoving for road infrastructure projects, setting a standard for future developments in the sector.
