The present professional proficiency project focuses on the implementation of a model to optimize the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in the pisco bottle production process of a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in the wine industry located in the Mala Valley, Peru. Using tools such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), specifically applying the pillars of Autonomous Maintenance and Planned Maintenance, Work Standardization, and Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), the aim is to reduce waste, downtime, and variability in the production process. Initially, a diagnosis of the current situation is conducted to identify the main sources of OEE loss, including stoppages, defects, and production speed issues. Based on these findings, a continuous improvement model is designed, incorporating practices such as autonomous maintenance, setup time reduction, and work standardization. The implementation of this model increases the process's availability, performance, and quality, positively impacting the OEE level. The results demonstrate an improvement in production indicators, which contributes to enhancing the company's competitiveness in the wine market. This study highlights the effectiveness of Lean Manufacturing as an improvement strategy for SMEs, emphasizing its applicability in the context of the Peruvian wine industry
