The present research study proposes a solution for a textile company with a prominent presence in the Peruvian textile industry, where an efficiency problem has been identified in its highest net income line. This situation is causing economic instability and affecting the company's reputation. The objective of the research is to develop an improvement project to increase process efficiency and optimize product quality. To achieve this, a methodology has been used that combines documentary analysis and a practical field study. Various Lean Manufacturing tools, such as SMED, TPM and 5S, have been applied to improve efficiency in the production process. Additionally, the Lean Green perspective has been integrated to ensure that the improvements are sustainable and benefit the environment. The project included a documentary and field analysis to identify the causes of deficiencies in production. Problems were detected in the spinning process that affect both the efficiency and quality of the products. The implementation of the improvement proposals aims to reduce the needle change time in knitting machines, which should increase customer satisfaction and reduce company costs. In conclusion, the adoption of Lean Manufacturing tools and the Lean Green perspective have allowed the textile company to improve its efficiency and reduce costs, while promoting more sustainable production practices.
