In the textile industry, export processes have become key to increasing business profitability. Optimal management of these processes directly impacts operational efficiency and key areas for decision making, promoting continuously improved results. In the field of International Business, this Professional Sufficiency Paper (TSP) develops a proposal to improve the export process of a textile company, analyzing the factors that generate cost overruns and proposing effective solutions to this problem. Likewise, this study comprises three chapters. In the first chapter, the context of the organization is detailed with an external and internal diagnosis and a description of the company is presented, highlighting relevant aspects. In the second chapter, the diagnosis and analysis of the problematic situation is carried out, where the theoretical framework and background of the study are explained; in addition, the relevance of the problem is justified and possible solutions are identified. In the last chapter, the discussion of the selected Lean Management alternative and the implications of this decision are presented. This is a qualitative study, specifically a case study of a real company operating in the Peruvian market. For its execution, information was collected from primary and secondary sources through interviews and documentary review. The information analyzed allows concluding that the selected proposal contributes to generate a higher profitability, reflected in an increase in income, minimization of risks and reduction of cost overruns.
