The objective of this research work has been to describe and compare the learning environments in public and private institutions at the initial level in the district of Ate, 2021. Under a quantitative approach, descriptive-comparative and non-experimental design, this The study covered a population of four public institutions and four private institutions, and the sample was 24 teachers at the initial level. The technique used for data collection was the survey and the instrument applied was a self-developed 28-item questionnaire. The Cronbach's Alpha reliability test was also applied, resulting in 0.9 in SPSS. It was concluded that in the learning environments of public institutions, of the total number of teachers, 16.7% affirm that they are inadequate, 66.7% certify that they are inadequate and 16.7% endorse that they are adequate. While in private institutions, 50.0% of teachers indicate that they are inadequate and the other 50.0% indicate that they are adequate. This means that in private institutions the learning environments are more relevant to the teaching-learning process.
