This research work was to improve mathematical skills in the two-variable linear equation systems of students in the Mathematics Levelling course. Most students have difficulties in graphically representing the line equation as well as graphically representing a two-variable linear equation system in the Cartesian plane, they also have deficiencies in solving a two-variable linear equation system and in mathematically modeling real context problems. The desmos online calculator facilitates the achievement of mathematical skills since it is an easily accessible platform and can be manipulated in an interactive way to graphically represent any algebraic equation. This thesis aims to test the use of the desmos online calculator in the students of the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in the Mathematics Levelling course, in particular, in the study of two-variable linear equation systems, which is a basic and important subject to understand and solve real context problems. For the study a control group of 25 students and an experimental group of 25 students were considered, which were measured with an instrument in the pre-test and post-test. The hypothesis test was performed through hypotheses for the difference between normal population means and the test statistic used was the Student t-distribution.
