The main objective of this research work was to establish the relationship that exists between self-efficacy and study goals in master's students of the Graduate School of the National University of Education - Period 2019 - I. The research is framed is framed in the quantitative approach is of a substantive or basic type, with a descriptive-correlational design and a hypothetical deductive method. The sample was defined through the type of non-probabilistic, intentional and random sampling, finally settling with 26 students from the institution in question. The technique used was the survey and the self-efficacy questionnaires and the questionnaire on study goals were used as instruments. The statistical data were processed through the SPSS program in its latest version. The conclusions reached are the following: There is a significant relationship between self- efficacy and study goals, at a total level and by dimensions: learning goals, achievement goals and social assessment goals, in master's degree students of the Graduate School of the National University of Education - Period 2019 - I.
