The primary objective of this scientific research was to determine the relationship between the variables: Social networks and learning strategies. The population of this research was composed of 90 students of the sixth semester of the program of Systems Engineering of the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú (Technological University of Peru - UTP). This research was basic and descriptive with a quantitative approach. The methods employed were inductive-deductive, analytical-synthesis, analytical-critical. The designs followed were non-experimental and cross-sectional. Likewise, a sample composed of 74 students of the sixth semester of the same university was analyzed. A survey and two questionnaires were used to collect information. The questionnaire 1 allowed to calculate the levels of preference of the social networks, while the questionnaire 2 measured the levels of use of the learning strategies in the students of the School of Systems Engineering. The Cronbach's Alpha test was implemented to analyze the reliability of the instruments. The Kolmogorov-Smirnov test was carried out to demonstrate the normality, as well as the Spearman’s correlation was taken into account to make the inferential analysis and to find out the correlation existing among the study variables. It was concluded that there is an average positive correlation with Spearman coefficient equal to 0.354 between both variables: Social networks and learning strategies in students of the sixth semester of Systems Engineering of the Universidad Tecnológica del Perú.
