The objective of this research work is to find the relationship between self-regulated learning and study goals achieved by students of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the III cycle of the National University of Education “Enrique Guzmán y Valle. This includes a descriptive and correlational research, which had as a sample 97 students from the Faculty of Social Sciences. It was possible to conclude the verification of the existence of a direct and significant relationship between self-regulated learning and Study Goals in the Students of the III cycle of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Education "Enrique Guzmán y Valle" in the 2019 semester. -II, This through statistical tools which showed us a Pearson correlation index, a value of 0.906 was obtained (very strong positive correlation) which determines that the variability (r2) is equal to 0.820, which establishes that the Academic goals are 82% determined by self-regulated learning.
