The objective of this research work was proposed in the present investigation to determine and verify that the application of the Listen Out For Something module influences the level of oral comprehension-Listening in students of the English specialty of the Faculty of Education of the National University of Cajamarca during the 2021-II academic cycle. The module in question is composed of cognitive strategies in order to improve the level of oral comprehension-Listening. For the realization of this study, the methodological framework was presented that used the applied experimental method, with a quantitative approach and with a quasi-experimental design. The population under study consists of 58 students of the Comprehensive Practice of English II subject, during the 2021-II cycle. The sample under study includes two (02) groups of students from the IX cycle, section "E" of the English specialty with 14 students per group (Experimental group = 14 and Control group = 14). The information collection technique used is the Evaluation because the instrument applied was the Test in its pretest and posttest temporal forms (at the beginning and at the end of the research) and the content of the experimental module. The pretest contains the measurement of the introductory domain, limited domain and effective domain levels of the dependent variable. The validity of the pretest and the content of the experimental module was carried out through the opinion according to the judgment of experts, resulting in excellent validity as an evaluation level. The degree of reliability was carried out through the KR-20, with the value of 0.821. It can be concluded that, with a confidence level of 95%, the results of the research demonstrate that the application of the Listen Out For Something module influences the level of oral comprehension-Listening in students of the English specialty of the Faculty of Education of the National University of Cajamarca during the 2021-II academic year, since obtaining the significance p = 0.012 less than the significance of 0.05
