The objective of this research work was on digital competences and their relationship with self-regulated learning of student officers of the Army Cavalry School – 2023. A quantitative approach was used in the study, characterized by applied research with a non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational design. A hypothetical deductive method was adopted in the analysis, focusing on a population of student officers of the Army Cavalry School. The sample used for the study included 23 student officers. To obtain information, the survey technique was applied through the use of two questionnaires with a Likert scale for each variable analyzed. These questionnaires included specific response options. A notable positive correlation coefficient of 0.818 was observed, indicating a very strong correlation. In addition, the p value (sig) was 0.000, which is less than 0.05; Consequently, the null hypothesis (H0) is discarded and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is validated. This implies that there is an existing relationship between digital skills and self-regulated learning in student officers at the Army Cavalry School in 2023.
