The objective of this research work was to determine a connection between the favorable Pygmalion effect and thesis preparation in 2016 among students of the UNE Enrique Guzmán y Valle, Faculty of Technology. I decided to use a quantitative approach, the study is simple or substantive, of a non-experimental descriptive correlational cross-sectional delineation, with 108 students of the UNE Enrique Guzmán y Valle, Faculty of Technology, in the 2016 university cycle. They were touched by two tools. A questionnaire to quantify the beneficial Pygmalion effect, and an additional different one to quantify thesis preparation. We were able to measure the variables and make the necessary comparisons and correlations thanks to the data we were able to collect. Among the key descriptive findings, 84 percent (72 students) and 69 percent (75 students) thought poorly about the positive Pygmalion effect for thesis preparation. The main finding was a revealing correlation between the positive Pygmalion effect and thesis preparation in students of the UNE Education Enrique Guzmán y Valle, Faculty of Technology during the 2016 university cycle (p 0.05 and moderately positive Spearman's Rho = 0.518).
