The present study was titled as Leadership the manager and his relationship with the Institutional management of the UCSS - Nueva - Cajamarca, 2017. As part of the objectives, the general objective was to determine the relationship of the manager's leadership with the institutional management of the UCSS - Nueva - Cajamarca, 2017. The research had a quantitative approach, in addition, it was correlational and non- experimental design. Regarding the study sample, there were 30 university workers to whom question questionnaires were applied. The results have allowed to know the level of leadership the manager where he was qualified as low in 57% by the workers surveyed, average in 30% and 13% of the employees perceive him as high. While the state of the institutional management was deficient as indicated by 53% of the collaborators of the university, while the qualification was regular at 27% and only 20% affirmed that it is efficient. It was concluded that the general hypothesis is accepted: The manager's relationship with the institutional management of the UCSS - Nueva - Cajamarca, 2017, is significant, due to the value that follows. Bilateral was less than the margin of error of 0.05 (0.000).
