The objective of this research work was raised as a general objective, to determine the reading level that presents in the anxiety levels in children in the third grade of primary school of the I. E. Nº 022 Andrés Avelino Cáceres of the District of San Juan de Lurigancho. This research has a quantitative approach, the type of study is descriptive. The research design is descriptive-correlational. The type of hypothesis used is that of bivariate correlation; in which the covariance of the variables is sought. The population is made up of 220 children and the sample by 102 children. To establish the reliability, the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test was used, for validity the Factor Analysis test (Kaiser Meyer Olkin) was used. In its results, a moderate positive relationship (medium) was obtained with a value equal to 0.633 and a significance less than "α". In view of this result, the approval of the alternative hypothesis is affirmed, concluding that the better the results presented in the factors that influence reading, the more evident the results that counteract anxiety will be.
