The objective of this research work was to analyze the relationship that exists between university classroom environments and academic stress in university students. The type of research is non-experimental and the design is correlational. The sample was made up of 78 students from the III academic cycle of the Universidad Peruana los Andes. The instruments used for data collection were the real version of the University Class Environment Inventory (IACU) and the Academic Stress Coping Scale (A-CEA) developed by Cabanach, Valle, Rodríguez, Piñeiro, Freire, (2010). The results report that there is no significant positive relationship between the university classroom environment and academic stress of the students of the III academic cycle of the Universidad Peruana los Andes. Therefore, it is concluded that the class environment is not a stress factor for students, which is why it is also maintained that it must be other factors that cause stress and not the class context.
