The main objective of the present investigation was to determine the relationship between levels of achievement motivation and knowledge management in students of a Private University 2018. It was presented as a descriptive and correlational study. The research sample was conformed of 85 students from the last Master of Administration (MBA) cycle. The research was developed under quantitative approach, non-experimental and transversal design. The instruments used were CML05 - Questionnaire on achievement motivation (Marcos and Vargas, 2005); and KM017 - Motivational questionnaire on knowledge management (Contreras and Vargas, 2018). Data information was analyzed in two levels. The descriptive analysis used measures of central tendency, dispersion and frequencies. For the inferential analysis, the distribution of the data was first verified using Kolmogorov-Smirvov Test (KS-Z), both study variables presented a normal distribution, resulting on the use of parametric test Pearson correlation for the statistical treatment. The results indicated that exists a significant positive relationship of considerable intensity between level of achievement motivation and knowledge management. At the same time, there was evidence that all dimensions of knowledge management were related to the achievement motivation variable.
