The objective of this research work was to examine the relationship between teaching strategies and mathematics learning in secondary school students at the I.E.P De Jesús-Los Olivos. To address this objective, a quantitative approach and descriptive analysis were used, developing a cross-sectional and correlational research study. 60 students were surveyed, using two questionnaires designed to evaluate instructional methods and measure progress in the acquisition of mathematical knowledge. After a rigorous evaluation process by experts, it has been found that both measurement devices present a high degree of reliability, as demonstrated by reliability coefficients of 0.86 and 0.87, respectively. The findings indicate a significant connection between pedagogical strategies and the acquisition of knowledge in mathematics, as evidenced in Figure 1 (Spearman coefficient) of 0.653**, and significance level of 0.061%, less than 1%. These findings lend credence to the argument that secondary school mathematics education can benefit from careful consideration and utilization of a variety of teaching methodologies.
