The objective of this research work was to analyze the tourist conditions of the Cajamarquilla 2022 archaeological zone, which allows the conservation of heritage. In this sense, the situation of the tourist conditions will be described, and whether it allows conservation. The specific objectives were to identify the basic infrastructure, tourist signage, heritage values, activities and threats. The research methodology is qualitative design with a phenomenological-descriptive approach, we applied the interview technique with an unstructured questionnaire and with an intentional sample of specialists related to the Cajamarquilla archaeological zone in research work, excavations, official tourism guides and consultants from the Ministry of Culture. The results of this research describe the situation of the basic infrastructure; the access roads have limitations, vehicular congestion is recurrent on the roads entering the district, there is no viable tourist offer to receive tourists; general services do not satisfy the attention of tourists because there are impediments; tourist signage is not in a condition to guide visitors; Heritage values are subject to citizen participation and cultural identity, where a group of the surrounding population of Cajamarquilla values and identifies with the archaeological zone of Cajamarquilla; the activities are participatory to promote the conservation of heritage, spreading more cultural and environmental activities; however, there is a lack of support from the local government. Lastly, in the threats, the recurrent invasions by non-inhabitants of the area were identified, who try to invade cultural spaces for their own benefit.
