The objective of this research work was the Family Social Climate and the development of social skills in students of the IV cycle of Regular Basic Education of the I.E. N° 1194 Ferrocarril-Chosica, UGEL 06-2022, it was a quantitative research, basic type, non-experimental cross-sectional correlational design, with about 60 participants as a sample found in a probabilistic way. Its instruments were the questionnaire validated by expert judgment and a Cronbach's Alpha reliability equal to 0.993 (family social climate) and 0.985 (Social skills). In the results at a descriptive level it was found that 40.0% (24) of students who were surveyed, affirm that the family social climate is of a negative tendency, the next percentage is 28.3% (17) students who perceive a positive tendency, 16.7% (10) positive, to finish, 15.0% (9) a negative climate. On the other hand, 40.0% (24) of students who were surveyed, claim that social skills are average, the next percentage is 36.7% (22) students who perceive good social skills, 13.3% (8) bad, finally, 10.0% (6) very good social skills. Regarding the hypothesis test, it was found that there is a positive relationship between family social climate and the development of social skills in students of the IV cycle of Regular Basic Education of the I.E. N° 1194 Ferrocarril-Chosica, UGEL 06-2022 (p ˂ 0.05, Spearman's Rho = 0.859, being a very high positive correlation).
