The objective of this research work was to establish the relationship between strategic planning and the transition process to IPv6 in the National Agrarian Health Service. Regarding the methodology, a quantitative approach was used, descriptive and correlational, non-experimental design, hypothetical deductive method, and a sample of 30 workers from the SENASA UIE, chosen by a non-probabilistic sampling. Two questionnaires (research instruments) were applied to them, with a level of validity that was carried out through expert judgment, obtaining an average of 90.83; Regarding reliability, it was executed through Cronbach's Alpha with 0.946 for the first instrument and 0.941 for the second. With the help of SPSS software, it was possible to show that 90% of the workers consider the level of strategic planning at SENASA to be good, while 6.67% consider it deficient and 3.33% indicate it as regular. Likewise, regarding availability, security and computer integrity, SENASA workers consider it to be high at 90%, low at 6.67% and medium at 3.33%. Therefore, the correlation effects of the variables by Spearman were obtained with 0.530 and a p-value of significance = 0.003 < 0.05, concluding that there is a significant relationship between strategic planning and the transition process to IPv6.
