The objective of this research work was the purpose of this study is to determine how the organizational climate and the teaching performance in the academic department of electronics and telematics of the National University of Education. The study is of quantitative approach, basic type, correlational, non-experimental design, with 224 subjects, of which 142 are samples probabilistic. In the study of the organizational climate variable, a questionnaire was used as data collection method and the instrument was a questionnaire. In the study of variable teaching performance, was used as a data collection method and the instrument it was a questionnaire. It was found that 57.7% (82) of the respondents considered that the organizational climate was average. In addition, the second variable was measured and it was verified that 56.3% (80) considered that the teaching performance was average. We can conclude that there is a significant relationship between organizational climate and teacher performance in the Department of Electronics and Telematics of the National University of Education with a moderate positive correlation Spearman's Rho=0.571.
