The study of the research focuses its objectives in the application of the “Improve your life” program in teachers of one educational institution of Lima, to test its effectiveness in the assertive rights. The program was applied to twenty five participants according to a pre experimental design with a pre test/ post test with only one group. For the statistical analysis the assertiveness self- report inventory ASRI -1 was applied, with the method test-retest. The result that we got were determined through a Wilcoxon nonparametric test, variations were identified in the assertive rights of the experimental group, in the dependent variable whose value Z was -3.100. This demostrates that significant differences exist between a pre test and a post test, therefore it can be specified that the program “Improve your life” has favorably infuenced in the participants change o level of assertive rights from an educational institution in Lima. With regard to the assertive rights in the dimension of self- assertiveness the value Z was – 2.466. This result indicates that there exist significant differences between the pre and post test. Also, the assertive rights in the dimension of the heteroassertiveness the value Z was – 2.735. The result shows that there significant differences when evaluating both moments. Based on the results, it can be determined that the program “Improve your life” was effective, with implications only in participants with similar chracteristics to the sample.
