The objective of this research work is to focus on describing the way in which digital competence is manifested among professors at the postgraduate institution located at the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education. Regarding the methodological terms, the quantitative approach was adopted, along with a non-experimental, simple descriptive design with a transversal nature. The sample consisted of 32 teachers, and a survey was chosen to obtain data. In our data collection, we used a questionnaire as an instrument for our research, where its qualitative validity is 95% validated through expert judgment. Regarding reliability, a statistic known as Cronbach's Alpha was used, which had a value of 0.955. According to the descriptive results, they reveal that at the low level the highest percentage of teachers is in the informational dimension (46.9%), followed by the technological and pedagogical dimension (34.4% each). At the middle level, the majority of teachers were located in the technological dimension (53.1%), followed by the pedagogical dimension (43.8%) and then the informational dimension (28.1%). At the high level, the highest percentage of teachers are in the informational dimension (25%), followed by the pedagogical dimension (21.9%) and then the technological dimension (12.5%). Concluding that of 100% of the teachers, 34.4% showed a low level of digital competence, while 37.5% were at a medium level and 28.1% were at a high level.
