The objective of this research work was to demonstrate the relationship between the use of graphic organizers and the development of reading comprehension skills in fourth grade students of the Augusto B. Leguía High School, in Puente Piedra, 2020. The general hypothesis proposed that the use of graphic organizers is significantly related to the development of reading comprehension skills in fourth grade students of the secondary level of the Augusto B. Leguía School, Puente Piedra, Lima, 2020. It is a substantive research in its variety of descriptive research with a correlational design. Its population and sample were made up of 35 high school students from the Augusto B. Leguía High School. The techniques used were the survey, expert judgment, and application. In addition, we used as instruments a questionnaire to collect information on the use of graphic organizers and a test of the reading comprehension variable. After the hypothesis test, it was found that the general hypothesis is true, confirming that the use of graphic organizers is significantly related to the development of reading comprehension skills in fourth grade students at the secondary level, with a significance level of 0.05.
