The objective of this work is the primary purpose of this research was to establish the relationship between virtual environments and the mathematics learning process in third grade high school students at the San Juan Bautista Educational Institution in Piura. It was considered appropriate to direct this study towards a quantitative approach, opting for applied research, and choosing the correlational-descriptive level with a non-experimental design (cross-sectional). The population under study was made up of 41 third-grade secondary school students from the San Juan Bautista Educational Institution in Piura, from whom a probabilistic sample of the same size was selected. A questionnaire was developed consisting of 15 items related to the variables "virtual environments" and "mathematics learning", which was subjected to a reliability analysis (Cronbach's Alpha) and validation by three experts. Analysis of the collected data was performed using SPSS statistical software version 26, which provided conclusive results. It was established that there is a positive relationship of moderate magnitude between the use of virtual environments and the mathematics learning process in third grade secondary school students of the San Juan Bautista Educational Institution in Piura during the year 2023. This finding was supported by a significant level of statistical significance (p ˂ 0.05, Spearman correlation coefficient = 0.532)
