The objective of this research work was based on the analysis of the critical intersection of administrative human capital and job performance in public educational institutions of higher university level. Exploring how determining aspects such as investment in the development of new skills, the acquisition of knowledge and motivation influence effectiveness and productivity in the work context. To this end, the main objective was to determine the relationship between administrative human capital and job performance at the Graduate School of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education. The study was developed under a quantitative approach, with a descriptive, correlational design, applied to a homogeneous sample of 16 administrative staff selected through a non-probabilistic sample. The questionnaire was used as the main instrument for collecting information. After the descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, it was demonstrated with a 95% probability that there is a weak positive relationship (r = 0.298) of human capital and job performance in the Graduate School, however, this relationship is not significant, therefore significance value 0.262 which is above 0.05. This finding demonstrates the complexity of the factors that affect human capital in the Graduate School and takes into account the possibility that other factors may also be affecting job performance.
