This study aimed to determine the relationship between implicit theories and self- efficacy with teaching practice in master's students of the National University of Education Enrique Guzmán y Valle. The research is quantitative, applied type and correlational descriptive design. The sample consisted of 200 students who completed a master's degree in education at the Graduate School of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education. For the measurement of the study variables, instruments such as: Implicit Theories Questionnaire, Teaching Efficiency Scale and Teaching Practice Questionnaire were administered. Likewise, statistical tests such as multiple linear regression and Pearson's correlation were used for the hypothesis restriction. The results indicate that the predictive power of the implicit theories and self-efficacy variables is accurately estimated in a R 2 correg = 0.156, significant at the level of p<0.01; that is, these variables explain the variance in the teaching practice variable by 15.6%. Furthermore, it was found that implicit theories correlate significantly with teaching practice, except for the implicit theory: traditional. It was also found that teacher self- efficacy and each of its dimensions correlate significantly with teaching practice. In conclusion, the results detected with the Pearson correlation indicate that there is a significant relationship between implicit theories and self-efficacy with teaching practice in master's students of the National University of Education Enrique Guzmán y Valle; evidencing that self-efficacy has a greater predictive in the behavior of teaching practice.
